Separating the folklore from the facts

The SuperFruits phenomenon has gained sweet success because of not only great taste but also from its experiential element that resides deep in the tropics. Ian Crown, SuperFruits' pioneer and farmer will share his stories about what is so super about SuperFruits. Dr. Jim Joseph, Ph.D, USDA, Agricultural Research Service Research Physiologist and author of The Color Code Diet, will discuss the pros and cons of marketing antioxidants and ORAC levels and will talk about the credible versus the incredible when it comes to super fruit health claims. Steve Baugh, Analytical Services Expert, will dig deep into ORAC to help developers understand how it can be manipulated and suggest other analytical tools and techniques to be evaluated.
